Feed an Officer

Since 2015, we have provided over 3,000 lunches to officers throughout the Midlands and over $20,000 in gift cards to off-duty officers to local restaurants.

Every year, we engage the community in showing appreciation to law enforcement. The campaign culminates in the delivery of lunches and other demonstrations of support around December 14, Greg Alia Day.

2023 Feed An Officer Campaign

Serve & Connect created this community-driven campaign to show appreciation for our law enforcement by providing lunch to local police stations. During the campaign, businesses and restaurants can donate money to provide catered lunches for stations to be distributed on December 14th. In addition, members of the community donate money to go towards catered lunches and gift certificates for local police officers.

December 14th is Officer Gregory Alia Day in Richland County and the City of Forest Acres. Officer Alia was an officer with the Forest Acres Police Department. He was killed in the line of duty on September 30, 2015. He is remembered as a hero for how he lived and served his community with respect and compassion. Serve & Connect was founded in his honor.

This year, we are excited to launch our Feed An Officer Campaign with a new spin! We are seeking supporters to sponsor lunch for officers. Meals will be delivered on December 14th.

An amazing way for the community to show appreciation in memory of Greg.
