Communities
Supporting
Officers

We bring together police officers and local citizens to share meals and conversations so trust can form.

We believe together we build stronger communities grounded in effective community safety partnerships when communities support the officers who protect them every day. Motivated by a passion to create positive synergy in divided communities, Serve & Connect uses common ground to shift mindsets and eliminate misconceptions. We create pathways for the community to uplift officers through our annual “Feed an Officer” campaign and Illuminight, our annual recognition event. We also assist families of fallen officers and officers critically injured in the line of duty through our tragedy response program.

Feed an Officer

On Dec. 14 (Greg Alia Day), we engage the community in showing appreciation to law enforcement. The campaign culminates in the delivery of lunches and other demonstrations of support.

Tragedy Response

Since 2015, we have raised more than $750,000 to assist families of fallen officers and officers critically injured in the line of duty. 100% is donated to the officers and their families.

Illuminight Event

Our annual mission celebration event is made possible thanks to our generous sponsors and honors police officers and community leaders who go above the call of duty. Illuminight is held yearly in March.

At the end of the day, what we – police and communities – want is more the same than it is different.
